Qld: Minister condemns competitions offering cosmetic = 2
Australian Medical Association (AMA) Queensland president Beres Wenck said competitions
offering cosmetic surgery as prizes were shoddy and irresponsible.
"I'm very concerned about it," Dr Wenck said.
"Cosmetic surgery is major surgery and should not be contemplated lightly."
Dr Wenck said the AMA would support any legislation which banned such competitions.
