Vic: Talks resume to resolve power dispute
MELBOURNE, Feb 6 AAP - Talks aimed at resolving Victoria's power dispute resume in
Melbourne today.
Premier Steve Bracks has set a deadline of midnight tonight for the row to be settled
otherwise he will invoke emergency powers.
The government can order a return to work tomorrow or bring in the Australian Industrial
Relations Commission to arbitrate the dispute.
Electrical Trades Union state secretary Dean Mighell said this morning: "The talks
have not progressed at all."
